LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATION

Congratulations to Carlos McCauley for successfully completing his Level 1 certification flight. Carlos flew his Sherwood Mickey rocket boosted on a Cesaroni H110 motor.


NEW SRA ALTITUDE RECORD

Congratulations to Steve Alban for setting a new SRA L Class Cluster Target Altitude record. Steve flew his Pteradactyl rocket boosted on a  Cesaroni K780 and two I175 motors to an altitude of 3134 feet.


NEW SRA 2017 ALTITUDE RECORD

Congratulations to Steve Alban for setting a new SRA Annual 2017 A Class Altitude record. Steve flew his Orange Mess rocket boosted on an  Estes A8-3 motor to an altitude of 252 feet.


SRA MARCH COMPETITION RESULTS

This month's competitions included B Class Streamer and Super-ROC Duration events. See this month's launch report for the standings and all of the scores.


SRA APRIL COMPETITION NOTICE

SRA is planning a A Class Streamer Duration competition event for April. Details are posted on the Competition page of the web site.

It’s great to have Bernie Lalime - Good Luck Rocketry - providing on-site support. He can help provide a multitude of mid to high power rocket motors, kits and supplies. Contact Bernie for pre-orders or questions. 


NEXT SCHEDULED LAUNCH

The next SRA launch is scheduled for Saturday April 15th, 2017. Equipment set-up begins at 10:00 and volunteers are always welcome to help. Launches begin after the flyers briefing at 11:00 and run until 4:00. The launch status is kept up-to-date on the Launch Status page of the web site.


MARCH 2017 LAUNCH REPORT

There were 16 fliers that made a total of 36 recorded flights. The total impulse for the flights was equivalent to a single M motor or 6352 single A motors.
